G-sensMalaria

Portable Graphene Multiplex Electrochemical Sensor for Rapid Detection of Severe Malaria

Project description

The G_SensMalaria project is developing a portable multiplexed, point-of-care, electrochemical point of care device with wireless data communication, based in low-cost high sensitivity graphene-based sensors biofunctionalized with aptamers for the quantitative detection of up to 5 diagnostic (HRP2 and LDH) and prognostic (ANG1, ANG2 and sTREM) malaria biomarkers.

This project is made of a consortium coordinated by GraphenicaLab with research partners ISGlobal (The Barcelona Institute of Globla Health at the Clinic Hospital in Barcelona) as well as Eurecat Technology centre.
